Our client is a global manufacturer focused on providing complete line solutions for the food packaging and food processing industry, from single machines to a complete production line for processing and packing meat, poultry, fish, seafood and cheese based products.

We are currently recruiting a home based Field Service Engineer to perform repair, installation and commissioning visits on customer sites in Ireland. The role will be responsible for proactively managing all customer support services to local customers, performing preventative maintenance visits and reporting all customer related technical/service issues.

Key tasks

• Provide a professional service to all customers
• Maintain a positive image to customers
• Synchronise company information daily
• Advise call centre of call status daily
• Maintain data integrity of installed base
• Actively promote customer support products
• Submit call reports on a weekly basis

Experienced required

• HNC Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• C6 years experience in food packaging/processing industry
• C6 years experience in field service support
• Knowledge of logical fault finding techniques
• Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic control systems
• Service sales and marketing experience
