European product manager - packaging machinery

Our client is a world leading designer, manufacturer and installer of innovative turnkey solutions for the food industry. With 400 employees in Europe and a turnover in excess of €100mill they have positioned themselves for significant growth over the next 3-5 years through a combination of geographic expansion, product portfolio development and after sales profit generating activities.

This exciting and challenging role will take responsibility for all commercial aspects of an industrial product line including the development and implementation of the product management plan reporting to and advising the board on the success of the strategy in line with company objectives.

To succeed in this newly created role will require a strategic business leader with strong sales, marketing, technical and general management skills and a proven track record of industrial product management and an understanding of all of the processes involved.

The position will be the figurehead for the product line throughout Europe and will require a talented influencer with the ability to develop strong relationships with multi disciplined internal teams and an authoritative communicator who can relate to customers across all levels of their organisation.

Candidates for this senior product management position are likely to be graduates who are accustomed to working in an international organisation that champion’s technology based equipment ranges. Outstanding leadership and a dynamic approach must be coupled with strategic vision and drive to positively influence the future of this already highly successful and progressive business.
