Our client is a trusted world manufacturer of product identification and traceability solutions, offering a full line of reliable and innovative inkjet, thermal transfer, laser and print & apply labeling systems. With more than 95 years experience the company delivers fully integrated solutions that enable product quality and safety, regulatory and retailer compliance, better product recalls and improved manufacturing processes.

Reporting to the UK Head of Operations we are now looking to recruit a Commercial Marketing Manager for the UK to increase revenue through existing and new channels.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of professionals providing relevant sales support information to the UK sales team.
  • Undertake analysis of the business, competitors and customers to identify potential growth areas for account management and account acquisition.
  • Propose, plan and implement activities that will provide new business opportunities and result in increased market share.
  • Provide relevant and appropriate marketing messaging platforms to support the production of all marketing communications collateral.
  • Where relevant identify and manage external service providers.
  • Provide regular assessment of existing market data and competitor analysis to improve customer intimacy.
  • Monitor all customer touch points within the business highlighting potential growth areas.
  • Work closely with the Head of UK Operations to define and implement the pricing strategy in line with the regional strategy.

Person Specification

  • Experience of working within an industrial B2B environment with a proven track record of success in people management, strategic marketing and sales lead generation.
  • A pragmatic and hands on sales focused style and the ability to contribute to the wider company development as part of a young management team.
  • Confidence and ability to build effective working relationships within management and sales teams.
  • Experience of developing support packages inc point of sale material, communications and pricing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects finding the right solution for the customer efficiently and effectively with a right first time approach.
