Regional Sales Manager - Flexible Packaging Solutions

We are a market leading global supplier of flexible packaging solutions for use within food, medical, pharma and non-food industries. With over 10 sales offices, 1500 employees and manufacturing sites throughout Europe we are now looking to recruit a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join the team in Finland.

The aim of this role is to develop new business opportunities in Finland and increase the turnover and profit in line with the European growth strategy.

The role

• Reporting to the Country Manager Scandinavia and working as a key member of the European sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy outlined for the region
• You will work closely with all European production plants to ensure the company is a preferred supplier of flexible packaging materials to key processors and retailers, primarily in the food industry, within your geographical area
• Crucial to the success of this role is your ability to further develop the company’s presence and customer base in Finland
• An in depth understanding of the European flexible packaging market place will be required to successfully grow the business through continued organic growth.

The experience required

• A demonstrable track record of achievement in the sales of either flexible packaging, packaging in general or deep knowledge of the food industry in Finland
• A strong minded individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a rare tenacity
• A talented influencer with an acute sense of diplomacy
• Goal oriented and performance focused with drive and high energy level coupled with strategic focus and tenacity towards objectives
• A questioning and listening approach to problem solving
