Sales Manager - Food Packaging

A privately owned European manufacturer of food processing machinery and consumables our client has worldwide installations and an enviable reputation for build quality, efficiency and design.

With an advanced range of equipment and consumables the company is recognised as a preferred supplier to major food processors within the vegetable, fruit, meat, cheese and convenience food sectors.

Continued success has resulted in the need to recruit a high calibre Sales Engineer to further develop equipment sales and the service business in the UK & Ireland.

This will include developing and implementing the new business development strategy and managing existing accounts in order to achieve pre-agreed sales targets for equipment, parts and service business.

The candidate we are looking for will have the following skills;

• Degree educated with an engineering background
• A successful track record selling capital equipment/machinery ideally with knowledge of the food industry
• Instinctively well organised and process driven with the ability to offer customers high levels of service and technical support
• A fearless and proactive approach to business development
• A natural ambassador for the company, able to work within a small team working towards increased profitability and positively raising the profile of the company throughout the UK & Ireland.
