A privately owned European manufacturer of processing equipment for use within the food industry our client has machines installed worldwide and an enviable reputation for build quality, efficiency and design.
With an advanced range of capital equipment solutions and consumables the company is recognised as a preferred supplier and long term partner to major food processors within the vegetable, fruit, meat, cheese and convenience food sectors.
The continued success of the UK business has resulted in the need to recruit a high calibre sales professional to further develop business in the north of England, Scotland & Ireland.
This will include managing existing key accounts and developing a new business strategy within key sectors & territories to achieve pre-agreed sales targets in line with company policy
The candidate we are looking for will have the following skills:
- A proven track record of successful territory management selling capital equipment solutions, previous knowledge of the food industry an advantage
- A dynamic approach to account management and business development with an understanding of the key skills and levels of organisation and professionalism required for successful territory management
- The ability to act as an ambassador for the company and work within a small and focused team working towards increased profitability and positively raising the profile of the brand throughout the UK
- A natural communicator who combines long term consultative solution sales with high levels of activity and the ability to close a deal
- Ideally degree educated in a business/technical discipline
