Technical Service Engineer - Packaging Line Solutions

The aim of this role is to supply the highest levels of customer satisfaction by providing effective aftersales service, installations and maintenance and meeting customers technical expectations in line with company strategy.

The role

• Perform corrective and curative interventions to ensure the fastest response time and ‘fix first time’ behaviour
• Assist with installations and maintenance activity when planning allows, ensuring SAP is correctly completed for all works undertaken
  Pro-actively maintain knowledge of core products related to the installed base of the area covered
• Conduct training both internal and external - externally for customers where needed and internally to develop a program of product knowledge for sales, technical and CRM teams, where necessary
• Actively promote and sell service products to customers, improving the up time of the application and maximising sales results as well as ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction

The person

• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in advisory capacity
• Expert knowledge of packaging line solutions within a food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Ability to technically assess situations and issues and proactively advise on solutions, approaching opportunities from a business perspective and not solely from a customer service view point
• Must be able to follow procedures and planning time
• Ability to multi task
