Business Development Manager - Food Processing Solutions

Our client is a leading global provider of advanced equipment and systems for the food processing industry. The company has positioned itself as a major player in the supply of machinery and equipment not just in the UK but worldwide offering a range of equipment covering virtually all aspects of modern food production from specific individual production needs using single machines, right through to fully integrated turnkey systems.

Job application

• Actively promote the companies further processing line solutions to new and customers within your defined market sector throughout the UK
• Build long term mutually beneficial customer relationships and present the company’s products and services in order to achieve annual sales, profitability and growth targets in line with company strategy
• Create and develop processing needs within customers offering tangible value propositions
• Develop sales in your sector in particular introduce new machines and new solutions against established competitors.

About you

• An experienced and proactive sales professional, preferably with experience of capital equipment sales into key customers within the food industry
• At least 3 years sales experience in a consultative/solution selling role
• Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
• Strong financial and analytical abilities
• Track record of measurable achievements in a similar role
• Graduate level in a technical/business field
