Product Manager Job - Packaging Machinery

Your responsibilities

Product management for pick & place robotics and secondary packaging globally, including functional leadership of regional product managers.

Responsible for development and execution of the product line strategy.

Identification of new business segments, products, applications and markets for the business unit and participation in external growth projects.

Comprehensive market and competitor analysis in cooperation with the regional product managers as well as attendance of shows, symposia and customer visits.

Responsible for product planning as well as coordination of global development efforts in cooperation with the regional product managers as well as development departments of the BU.

Global product launch of new products.

Support of global cooperation within the organisation and moderation of cross-functional workshops.

Representation of the BU towards internal entities, agents and customers.

Your competencies and qualifications

The person we are looking for will have 5 years+ experience working in a commercial role in an international environment in the packaging machinery sector.

Degree in business studies (technical orientation) or industrial engineer with strong business orientation.

Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking.

Capabilities/experience in project management.

Intercultural competence and ability to moderate and steer international teams.

High customer orientation and high willingness to travel (c60% of the time).

High technical affinity, structured work approach, very good communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure.

Languages - The person must be fluent in English, knowledge of French or German would be an advantage.
