The market leading brand of pressure sensitive paper, film and foil roll materials are used to produce a variety of self-adhesive labels for packaging pharmaceutical, beverage, health and beauty and food products worldwide.

Reporting to the Global Pharma Director the Business Development Manager Pharma is responsible for executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives growth in the Pharma segment throughout Europe.

You will be expected to connect with key decision makers within the Pharma manufacturing segment in order to build a solid opportunity pipeline and drive the overall adoption of pressure sensitive label materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a pull strategy by building relationships with end users and end-user influencers
  • Develop and execute a push strategy by building a relationship with identified key converters
  • Create and manage business segment P&L for Pharma in Europe.
  • Decide on target sub-segments and define value proposition, product and service offer per targeted sub-segment.
  • Create customer and end-users segmentation.
  • Achieve a deep understanding of the market-segment’s needs.
  • Analyze the label market for pharmaceuticals.
  • Determine market potential.
  • Work with the product manager for Pharma to develop the product, price and performance positioning as well as a multi generation product and service plan.
  • Exchange experiences with Pharma segment managers from other regions and jointly work on global end user accounts.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, business or engineering, or similar.
  • At least 8-10 years of professional experiences in Sales, Business Development or Marketing - alternatively, high potential with 3-4 years of professional experiences and exceptional development potential.
  • Recent knowledge of the key factors influencing buying patterns within the Pharma sector.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to establish senior customer relationships.
  • Exceptional energy level and strong personal drive.
  • Results driven mindset.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Ability to travel 40-50% of the time.
  • Fluent in English, other European languages a plus.
