Reporting to the Applications Technical Manager UK we are recruiting a Pre-Sales Engineer to provide a high level of expertise and technical support to the sales and service teams to enhance sales in line with company strategy and customer interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct commercial technical support to the sales team and advise on the appropriate solution to the customers application that facilitates a right first time installation, including correct pre-installation and handover data.
  • Perform feasibility studies for potential applications, demonstrations and sampling and technically audit existing installations.
  • Responsible for managing customer projects successfully delivering against customer timeframes and controlling of the project within company budgeted costs.
  • Perform and assist where needed on pre-installation visits.

Requirements

  • You will possess a high level ability to communicate with internal and external customers in an advisory and training capacity.
  • C5yrs experience in a technical service role within the marking and coding industry.
  • Ability to technically assess situations and issues and proactively advise on solutions, approaching opportunities from a business perspective and not solely from a customer service viewpoint.
  • Managed by the Applications Technical Manager, the Pre-Sales Engineer ensures the balance between the technical solution and the customer requirements accordingly to the company sales policy. His/her action contributes to the sales and service objectives achievement within the area.
