The candidate experience
Our aim is to ensure that all candidates whether successful in their application or not have a positive, informative and refreshing experience of the complete recruitment process.
Managed timescales are explained to you throughout to achieve a positive momentum and ensure you will not feel frustrated waiting for the next stage.
We will communicate with you at every stage of the process and you are free to contact Fidelis at any point day or night weekday or weekend. It is this easy and regular flow of information that forms the basis our candidate relationships.
Any application will always be treated with exceptional confidentiality, great care will be taken in understanding your day to day movements and most appropriate contact information.
Interview feedback will always be accurate and constructive – we will not just tell you what you want to hear. We will explain what you did well and what areas of your interview technique you need to develop.
We are here to advise not just active job seekers but candidates who want to develop dialogue with an industry specific recruiter for future opportunities. We will challenge your perceptions of how you want your career to develop and offer our advice based on 10 years recruitment experience. We will also offer constructive advice on the design, layout and content of your CV.
Applying for a new position and entering into the interview process is hopefully not something you regularly do, it can therefore be a daunting prospect. We will walk you through all aspects of the recruitment process;
1st interview preparation
We will provide you with a profile of the client inc history, products, services, customers, structure and strategy, background information on the interviewers and what their expectations are for this 1st stage. Detailed job description, person specification and salary package detail.
Presentation
You may be a PowerPoint expert and feel very comfortable presenting to an audience, if not we will assist in developing your presentation to ensure you leave a positive impression and progress through to the next stage.
2nd interview preparation
We understand any job application is a 2 way process, are you right for them, are they right for you. The 2nd stage is about getting down to the detail. We advise both candidate and client to ensure a constructive meeting and an uncomplicated process.
Salary negotiation
If you are offered the role all aspects of the package need to be right before you formally accept. We will understand the details of your existing package, your expectations and what is on offer for the right candidate. We will assist in the flow of the negotiation to ensure a positive outcome.
Resignation
This can be a daunting stage, what will happen? How will my employer react? Will they make it difficult for me? What if they make me a counter offer? After 10 years in the recruitment industry we have experienced most scenarios and will talk you through all possible eventualities until an exit date has been agreed.
Notice Period
We want to keep in regular contact with both candidate and client throughout the final notice period be it 1 day or 6 months.
Regular Reviews
Once you have started your new position we want to have a post placement review with both client and candidate at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. We want to know if you are getting the support you need, is the job as advertised, are you progressing in the way both parties expect, can we red flag any possible problem areas.
The relationship that we have with our candidates is the lifeblood of our business, only through this can we continue to build a sustainable business and a brand that is recognised as offering a consistently high level of service and professionalism.
We will always try to offer you the level of service we would demand if the roles were reversed
